Hi,
The absence request example becomes automatically deployed when the Intalio BPMS server is installed. This is a good example and I would like to see the design of the process in the Intalio Designer.
Unfortunately, the source file is not posted in the Samples section. Does anyone know where to find the zip file for it (version 5)?
Thanks and with best regards.
Kabir

Hi Kabir, Absence Request sample contains the hand coded xforms to explain how hand coded xforms can be reused in Intalio|BPMS Designer. In which you cannot open these xforms in Designer. Sample will be available soon for version 5.
Thanks, Shivanand.

Hi Shivanand It is nice to know that I can use hand-coded forms inside Intalio. Does the Absence Request Sample explain how to hand code the XForms that are part of the sample itself. thanks.

Yes, you can use the hand coded xforms inside Intalio|BPMS Designe to design process, We will provide a sample for version 5 shortly.
Thanks, Shivanand.

Hi Shivanand,
When an xform is designed in the intalio designer, the associated wsdl file gets automatically generated.
But in the case of hand coded xforms, no wsdl file is generated when you import the xforms into your project (Intalio version 5), And without the xform.all.wsdl files, the xforms cannot be used in the project.
Is there any way to generate the xforms wsdl files, or are there any alternatives to this problem?
Thanks and with best regards.

Hi,
you might want to clean your project (Project>Clean).
If that doesn't work, please attach here your logs.
Thanks,
Antoine

Hi Antoine, Cleaning did not quite solve the problem. I am attaching the process. My process is very simple involving two forms. I just imported the two xforms from the AbsenceRequest sample that was posted in your samples section of version 4. While the wsdl files have been created, there are other errors in the process pool. (the mapping has not been done yet - I just wanted to see if the project can be run first). It would be very nice of you if you could have a look and give some suggestions. Thanks and with best regards. Kabir File Attachment: File Name: CA6.zipFile Size: 30140

Hi Katie,
The Absence request example is already deployed on the server when you install it, there's no need for a zip file. if you want to look into the project in detail, you can do so from the console by clicking on the AbsenceRequest link on the Processes page. Here you'll have access to the diagram, all the resource files, and view the instances if you launched the process. You can also see some files (the Xforms, among others) in the /var/deploy/AbsenceRequest directory of your server.
Hope this helps, Pierre

Hi Pierre,
Thanks for the response. I did download the AbsenceRequest files from the console, but it doesn't offer a .bpm file that I can open up in the designer. And I can't import the AbsenceRequest.zip file (that I downloaded) as another project into the designer (the "finish" button doesn't get activated when the ZIP file is selected).
I would like to look at how this project was created.
Any further insights would be appreciated.
Katie

Hi Katie,
The absence request sample is a hand coded sample. No bpm diagram is available to represent it. Please note though, that all functionalities presented in the Absence Request example are implemented in one or several other projects which you can download from the samples page.
Hope this helps, Pierre
