Hello,

Can you please tell me how I should use the File upload option in Intalio? with this option, i just have a textbox for entering the name of the browsed file, and a Browse button. Where and how should i attach the button to upload the file and submit? Is it simply through the /Complete/ button only? Where will the file get stored?

I tried using this upload file option. i clicked on \'Complete\' after selecting the file. But i encountered an error saying .

Exception at line 27 of oxf:/config/xforms
f oxf:/config/xforms-widgets.xsl (checking instance validity): xforms:submission
: instance to submit does not satisfy valid and/or required model item propertie
s.
oxf:/config/xforms-widgets.xsl, line 27, column -1: xforms:submission: instance
to submit does not satisfy valid and/or required model item properties.

I am attaching the error in my admin-console UI.
Please help.

Thanks & Regards,
Eva

Hi Eva,

If you want to upload a File, you must write a name for a browsed file and you must select browsed file. Then you must click to green \\\\\\\"plus\\\\\\\" icon on the left of file name.

To get attached file in the next task, I\\\\\\\'m no sure because I\\\\\\\'ve never do it, but something said me I need to call TMS directly with GetTask into bpm diagram and show me this link http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/TaskManagementServices?wsdl (makesure server is up and running fine). But I did\\\\\\\'nt know how do it.

I hope this help you and somebody with more experience help you too.

Thanks,

Iván

Which version of designer are you using ?
I kind of remember the xform code generated for upload on xforms was not accurate a few versions ago.

This should be fixed in the soon to come 6.0 release.

Otherwise, you can disable validation in init.xpl or complete.xpl in the xForms webapps.

The upload itself is defined in the config file named tempo-tas.xml, and tells where the file is going for attachments, but also for file uploads.

Hope this helps,

Nicolas,
