With this feature Intalio|BPMS Workflow would record task properties every time an action occurs upon it in a specific database, storing the date and time of the action, the type of action, the task meta data properties and the task data (current input/output).
Intalio|BPMS Workflow Task Management Services (TMS) would also be extended to provide web services to get access to task history in a secure manner (through the same security framework that TMS already uses).
Finally, Intalio|BPMS Console would provide a new view that would list all tasks and provides the ability to access the history of a specific task. The task list shows the task description, the date/time when it was started, the current state and the user/role to whom it is currently assigned, similarly to the Process Instances view. The user can click on each header column to order the task list accordingly and apply filters to the list. Clicking on a task opens the task history view, which is a table that shows the list of actions with the action type, the date/time it occurred, and the user who triggered it. Here again, the user can click on each header column to order the task history accordingly. Clicking on an action in the list provides all the details about the task at that time, i.e. the task meta data and task data (in XML). If you want to see the development accelerated, please contact
